After two games in Australia and three in San Diego, the Dodgers will face the San Francisco Giants tomorrow on opening day in Chavez Ravine. With the biggest payroll in Major League Baseball, expectations could not be higher. But off the field, it's the Dodgers versus Los Angeles. Also, an ancient landmark is about to re-open in downtown LA, stirring memories of Bugsy Siegel, Charles Manson and Marilyn Monroe.
