Google Land Purchase Legitimizes Playa Vista as Tech Hub of SoCal

Google has now paid $120 million for 12 acres of vacant land in Playa Vista, creating a massive development on LA's Westside.  It's a “bold move to expand in Southern California, the nation's nexus of technology and entertainment.”  That's according to Andrea Chang with the LA Times.
