After decades of medical errors, mismanagement and patient deaths, at least three of LA-s five County Supervisors are looking at privatizing the King/Drew Medical Center. Today-s LA Times reports on a federal inspection last Friday that documented continued medical errors and the death of another patient. Charles Ornstein covers King/Drew for the LA Times and has the latest on one of the country-s most troubled public facilities.

Local governments are too small to solve some of their most pressing problems and state government is stalled in partisan gridlock.
