Preview of the Los Angeles City Elections

Hosted by

LA's latest election is essentially over except for the voting, with a low turnout expected tomorrow. Then it's on to the May runoffs for Mayor — and probably for City Attorney, City Controller and some of the City Council races as well. We talk about polls, money and the search for real issues. Also, one race that will be decided tomorrow is for District 4 of LA Unified between incumbent Steve Zimmer and reformer Kate Anderson. We take a closer look at what's at stake for the school district and Superintendent John Deasy.  On our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, with all the demands for Catholic reform, what are the prospects for a "Vatican Spring?"
