Pasadena to Sue Embezzlers Who Stole $6.4 Million

The City of Bell is now famous for the embezzlement of millions in public money by public officials. Now, Pasadena is facing the loss of $6.4 million. Danny Ray Wooten, a former analyst in the Public Works Department -- and Pastor of the New Covenant Christian Fellowship Center -- has pled "not guilty" of grand theft and other charges. The City has announced a lawsuit against him to get the money back.  Frank Girardot is Editor of the Pasadena Star-News.
