Taking no prisoners on charter reform

Hosted by
The Los Angeles Elected Charter Reform Commission rejected a compromise with the city's appointed charter panel, meaning voters will likely have a choice between two complicated reform measures. The Mayor's office says that means a better chance that some version of reform will pass. But critics contend the Mayor is on a power grabbing mission. Will the city's ages-old charter be modernized, or did the "take no prisoners" vote effectively kill reform chances?
