The elected LA school board has voted to destroy internal e-mails after just one year. This comes after reports from two-year old e-mails revealed that Superintendent John Deasy had meetings and discussions with Apple computers and curriculum publisher Pearson that led to a $500 million contract. Steve Zimmer is a member of the LAUSD board.
