What's Next for Grand Avenue?

Hosted by

For decades, LA’s civic leaders have envisioned a world-class, pedestrian-friendly cultural center on Bunker Hill. Architect Frank Gehry’s Walt Disney Concert Hall finally provided a keystone—but his grand design for the rest of the neighborhood was downsized and stalled by the recession. Now Gehry wants back in the action.  Has the Grand Avenue Project’s time come ‘round at last—or has it outlived its relevance to a changing city?

Also tonight, despite armed guards and booby traps, water-pollution officers will join law enforcement in a crackdown on marijuana farms.
