If you’re a parent in LA, would it be helpful to you if you had a rating, like an Amazon or Yelp score, for a particular LA Unified school? That’s something that the nation’s 2nd largest school district is contemplating: a rating scale of 1 to 5. The idea is to give parents and educators insight into how their schools stack up, with one glaring issue: the system would rate its own schools and charters.
