Russians in Ukraine, Republican Future, the Inevitability of Hillary

Lawmakers in Crimea voted in favor of leaving the Ukraine for Russia and holding a regional vote. Is this like Scotland's referendum? Does nationalism only apply to the United States? Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger says the demonization of Putin is an alibi for a policy. Hillary Clinton recently likened Russia's actions in the Ukraine to steps taken by Germany in the 1930's. Is she preparing for a presidential run for 2016? Nate Silver says no non-incumbent presidential candidate has ever been in such a strong a position at this point in the cycle.
