Social media is a breeding ground for xenophobia, sexism, racism and all sorts of other unpleasantness, but there are times when it can spread a more positive message. Xeni Jardin has seen both sides of the digital coin, but she was reminded of the positive when her tweet condemning ISIS went viral. It was retweeted more than 50,000 times by Muslims all over the world. We’ll hear from one man in New Delhi named Amaan Ullah Turkei who tweeted in response, “Thank you @xeni for being our voice in the time of sadness. We all belong to a big Human family. ♥ ♥”
