Cashing in on Political Popularity

Hosted by

President Obama exited Los Angeles just as he came in, making money for Democrats, and migraines for West L.A. drivers. He’s attended 30 fundraisers in Los Angeles County since taking office. Should we be getting a complex about the president’s love? And with less than a month to go before Election Day, Governor Jerry Brown is enjoying a comfortable lead over his challenger, Republican Neel Kashkari. Brown has TV ads running – but not for his re-election efforts. Joining KCRW's Steve Chiotakis this week on the Mixer is John Myers, California Politics & Government Desk Senior Editor at KQED, and Joe Mathews, California Columnist for Zocalo Public Square.
