Hosted by

It's been almost 50 years since a drilling rig blew out in the Santa Barbara channel, spewing three or four million gallons of oil and helping to start the environmental movement. But 21,000 gallons is enough to kill wildlife and foul beaches, starting at Refugio and El Capitan. We hear from the scene of yesterday's oil pipeline rupture.

Also, after yesterday's elections, the LA Unified School Board is getting a face lift, and the City Council will be joined by its first Korean-American member.
