Two Steps Forward, Two Steps Back in LA's War on Gangs

Hosted by

There's good news and bad news with two gang-related arrests in the past two days.  Today, LA's Mayor and Police Chief announced today the arrest of Steve Garcia, a murder suspect who was buying an ice cream cone in Rosarita Beach, Mexico.  The bad news is that Mario Corona was arrested yesterday and charged with possessing a pound of methamphetamine. Corona, a former gang member with a master's degree in social research from USC, has been part of the controversial LA Bridges gang intervention program.
