Will Superintendent John Deasy Pass or Fail?

LA Unified may be in for another leadership change… or maybe not. It all depends on the elected school board, which has drawn up a termination agreement just in case. The teachers’ union wants John Deasy to go. The LA Times wants him to stay—if he and the board can learn to work together. The much-awaited evaluation process continues tomorrow — just as a judge has ruled that mismanagement of class schedules has deprived kids of their right to an education. Will technology save him or cost him his job?
