It’s back! Food Forward’s Can It! Academy returns for a 12 week Food & Cottage Arts Certificate Program taught by Master Preserver Ernest Miller. Classes meet every Wednesday evening at The Farmers Kitchen (1555 Vine Street) from September 18th to December 11th. Expect lessons dedicated to jams, jellies, pickles, dehydration, charcuterie, beer, bread, the new AB 1616 law on cottage food, and SO much more. Best of all, 100% of net proceeds go to help support Food Forward’s programs to harvest food, fight hunger and build community.

Click here for details on how you can apply for the class.

Westsiders stay tuned for a separate more advanced 3-session series on international Food Preserving to be held in Santa Monica later in the fall.
