The Loop (Dalkey Archive)

Jacques Roubaud describes the mesh of image and memory that makes up his fascinating, newly translated, unclassifiable book. A member of the French group Oulipo, Roubaud is interested in structure, in this case the structure of memory itself, and the way memory can be shaped to make up what we call "the story of our lives."
