David Lipsky and Rick Moody: David Foster Wallace's 'The Pale King'

When David Foster Wallace died, he left behind drafts (in different states of completion) of a novel called The Pale King (Little, Brown). This novel turned out to be complete enough to be published, and characteristically rich and complex enough to remind us that DFW was one of our country's great writers. Writers Rick Moody and David Lipsky, who read advance copies of The Pale King, discuss Wallace's achievement, just in time for the book's publication date: April 15. It's a significant date because the book is about the inner-workings of the IRS.
