    On today’s DnA, Santa Monica builds a “subtley subversive” parking structure that pedestrians can love. With architect Christof Jantzen and Alex Lightman. And, Ace Hotel has opened in Los Angeles in the former United Artists building on Broadway. Mallery Roberts Morgan talks to the designers and owners about keeping the local flavor in a growing hotel chain.
