As Veterans Day approaches, we present the writings of U.S. troops and their families, who recorded their reflections on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq for Operation Homecoming, a project created by the National Endowment for the Arts. The result was book of writings and a 15-CD boxed set of readings.
