Rob Thomas, the creator of Veronica Mars talks about how he realized this passion project through the funds of passionate fans and the backing of Warner Bros. Then, filmmaker Daniel Adams describes how and why he bilked Massachusetts out of millions in tax incentive money to pay for a movie. He went to prison for 21 months and now that he's out he hopes to repay $4.3 million to the state through making more movies.
