Two documentaries he was involved with were nominated for Oscars, and his film, Taxi to the Dark Side, won. His new doc, Gonzo, takes us into the heart and soul of Hunter S. Thompson. Hear what drives him to seeking other points of view.

Gibney discusses the recurring themes in his documentaries, The Great Gatsby's influence on Thompson, the advent of Gonzo journalism, similarities between the political climate of today and the 1970's, and his friendship with artist Ralph Steadman.
