Academy Award-winning director Brad Bird has been at the helm of some of the largest-grossing animated features in history, including The Incredibles and Ratatouille. His latest film, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, despite being his first live-action feature, doesn't stray too far from his animation roots. Bird divulges his favorite animated film, grapples with the idea of having a particular aesthetic, and explains that if you're looking for a real-life super hero, Tom Cruise is as good as it gets.
