Chris Douridas guests hosts KCRW’s signature music program — defying format since 1977.

If the names Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller do not immediately ring any bells, then you will surely recognize the names of the songs that they have co-written over a career spanning 48 years -- "Hound Dog," "Stand By Me," "Pearl's a Singer," "Jailhouse Rock," "Fools Rush," "Spanish Harlem" -- the list is endless. Many of their hits can be heard in the hit Broadway review "Smokey Joe's Cafe." Lieber and Stoller visit KCRW to talk about their outstanding contributions to musical history.
