Fanatic. It’s been quite a week, hasn’t it? It is obvious that everyone passes away but some people are larger than life and when they eventually leave, it’s almost science fiction. A world without David Bowie is simply less artistic, less mysterious, less musical. We are very lucky to have the records he made.

Fanatic. It’s been quite a week, hasn’t it? It is obvious that everyone passes away but some people are larger than life and when they eventually leave, it’s almost science fiction. A world without David Bowie is simply less artistic, less mysterious, less musical. We are very lucky to have the records he made. If you get a chance, Fanatic, please check out Blackstar, the man’s last album. It is beautiful as it is haunting and sad. I played it three times in one day in Bristol UK after I got the news of his passing. I want to play it again but I feel too beaten up to face it right now.

Any death is a loss and I would not say that one is bigger than another. That being said, sometimes, someone leaves and the whole world takes notice. That is the case with Mr. David Bowie.

I am damn sorry that this show is pre-taped and we will be unable to bring you a show that you deserve, one where we could immerse ourselves in the man’s amazing music. How about this, let’s do it in February.

I am on tour for the next few weeks but will be back and we will not only pay our respects to Mr. Bowie, but our good pal Lemmy.

As this show plays at you from the mighty KCRW, I will be in Dublin. That being the case, we have to listen to some Thin Lizzy, which we rock in our first hour.

At least we have a little Bowie music for this show. The rest of the tunes are good as well. As always, we hope you dig the jams.

Hang onto yourself and STAY FANATIC!!!
