Loco’l: Roy Choi’s Healthy Fast Food Concept 9 MIN, 34 SEC

The big news at this year’s MAD Conference, an annual gathering Jonathan Gold refers to as the Woodstock for chefs, came from California chefs Roy Choi and Daniel Patterson. They will launch Loco’l in 2015, a chef-driven fast food chain aimed at bringing higher quality food to underserved communities. The first outpost is set to open in the Tenderloin district in San Francisco early next year.

You can taste Melon Collie at the Alex Weiser’s 2014 Feast to Farm Dinner in Tehachapi or grab a pint at the El Segundo Brewing Company’s tap room. The brewery will also be pouring Melon Collie at the LA Brewers Beer Week kickoff on September 20th.
