Lee Baca's plea deal has been rejected by a federal judge. The former LA County Sheriff was convicted of lying to the FBI during its investigation into reports of inmate abuse inside LA County jails. Under the plea deal Baca would've served a maximum of six months in prison, but the presiding judge, Percy Anderson, argued that would "trivialize the seriousness of the offenses."
