    Remembering City Hall Reporter Rick Orlov

    Rick Orlov, a veteran Los Angeles Daily News reporter who covered City Hall for almost 30 years, died today after complications of diabetes. He was 66. KCRW's Steve Chiotakis spoke to Kevin Roderick of LA Observed about Orlov's contributions to LA politics and journalism.

    Rick Orlov, a veteran Los Angeles Daily News reporter who covered City Hall for almost 30 years, died today after complications of diabetes. He was 66. Orlov began working at the Los Angeles Daily News in 1978, and covered five mayors. Plans for a memorial service and a public memorial are pending. KCRW's Steve Chiotakis spoke to Kevin Roderick of LA Observed about Orlov's contributions to LA politics and journalism.
