The US is using air strikes to try and stop the wave of ISIS fighters sweeping Iraq. Some have questioned whether the US should be involved, while others wonder whether the US should’ve pulled out of Iraq. Robert Scheer says "the military solution causes more problems than it solves…This nation building stuff is madness. The Iraqi’s should make their own history and defeat [ISIS].” Meanwhile, the crisis in Israel and Gaza continues, with some prominent left-wing Israelis supporting their government’s actions against Hamas. Rich Lowry praises that stance, and adds that the ongoing global backlash against Israel is another sign that “if Jews die, Hamas wins. And if Palestinians die, Hamas wins.” Then, Matt Miller shares his experience of being at school and watching President Nixon resign 40 years ago, and what he learned from a recent Nixon documentary.

This week's panel includes Matt Miller, moderating from the Center. On the Left is Robert Scheer (TruthDig.com). Rich Lowry (National Review) is on the Right.
