Comedian Cristela Alonzo’s journey from a small Texas border town to starring in an ABC sitcom was one of the longest of long shots. The network bought the script for her show but didn’t order a pilot. The series was dead until a big gamble and a borrowed soundstage changed everything. Then, we hear from actor Barbara Rosenblat, who in addition to playing Miss Rosa on Orange is the New Black, is also one of the most requested audiobook narrators in the country.
