Terence Winter: From Law School to Pine Barrens to 'Vinyl'
Terence Winter, the co-creator and showrunner of the new HBO series Vinyl, tells us how his roots in Brooklyn and stint practicing law both helped him -- in a roundabout way -- land big writing jobs in Hollywood.

At one point in 2007, he was working on his HBO series, Boardwalk Empire, as well as the script for The Wolf of Wall Street. Now, he and Martin Scorsese have teamed up again, this time joined by Mick Jagger, for the new HBO series Vinyl. Winter tells us about his path from practicing corporate law to writing for The Sopranos.
