Film critic Owen Gleiberman states that he did not choose film criticism, it chose him. In his new autobiographyMovie Freak, Gleiberman chronicles the way analysis came very naturally to him as movies were a source of connecting during his childhood. He even shares an excerpt from his book highlighting ‘Guidelines for Film Festivals’ alongside fellow film critic Elvis Mitchell.
