Can Tehran and Washington Seal the Deal? 22 MIN, 49 SEC

In Iran today, yesterday’s deal on the country’s nuclear development was promoted during Friday Prayers.  Addressing the nation on national television, President Hassan Rouhani  said, “They accepted that Iran -- on its own land -- should have the right to enrichment, that is to say that enrichment had been a threat but now everyone has accepted that the enrichment is not a threat for anyone.

Faced by Republican opposition and skeptics in his own political party, President Obama defended the nuclear deal yesterday in a statement from the Rose Garden. "If Iran cheats the world will know it. If we see something suspicious, we will inspect it. So this will be a long-term deal that addresses each path to a potential Iranian nuclear bomb."
