Egypt's Moment of Truth

We devote today's entire show to the events in Egypt and the Arab World, the protests and crackdown in Cairo, as Egyptians battle for Tahrir Square. We respond to reports that journalists and foreign aid workers have been targeted and discuss the explosion of social media and its influence. Also, how are the protests in Egypt reverberating in Israel, and in other Arab states? What are the implications for President Obama and US foreign policy in the Middle East?

We devote today's entire show to the events in Egypt and the Arab World, highlighting the protests and crackdown in Cairo, as Egyptians battle for Tahrir Square. We respond to reports that journalists and foreign aid workers have been targeted, attacked and detained in Cairo, and discuss the explosion of social media and its influence on the demonstrations. Also, how are the protests in Egypt reverberating in Israel, and in other Arab states like Yemen, Jordan, Syria, and Saudi Arabia? Can democracy work in the Arab World? What are the implications for President Obama and US foreign policy in the Middle East?
