The Argument for Crony Capitalism

April jobs numbers disappoint, a Chinese dissident exposes a sore spot in US-China relations and a Bain Capital-ist revives the argument for income inequality.

Employment for April was up by 115, 000 jobs, but of course those numbers don't really reflect the pain. Chinese dissident Chen Guangcheng gets Washington's attention, but where is human rights on the list of US priorities in China talks? A presidential election this weekend could change the political course of France -- and the economic course of Europe. A former partner from Mitt Romney's Bain Capital days makes the case for income inequality, and Facebook gets ready to IPO. (Joining us this week is the Daily Beast/Newsweek's David Frum)
