SOPA: How Is Piracy Affecting Angelenos?

The "creative communities" of LA and Orange County are losing jobs. Employment in arts and entertainment dropped by 11% between 2007 and 2010, and there's a ripple effect on all those supporting artists and entertainers — directly and indirectly — from technicians, writers, hairdressers and caterers to all the people they do business with. Many people in Hollywood blame Internet piracy, and they've made it a hot issue on Capitol Hill. We've sampled KCRW listeners who work in the industry through Facebook and the Public Insight Network.
