And good news, that Traffic Manager could be you! The KCRW Traffic Manager will support the day-to-day needs of the KCRW Underwriting team, helping Account Managers to flawlessly execute campaigns for Sponsors/Agencies and drive revenue for KCRW. The right individual will be a key contributor, responsible for producing, recording and scheduling spots. Are you a detail person? In 2018, KCRW released a number of ambitious, bold and innovative podcasts. Our slate of digital-first programming includes Bodies, UnFictional, Lost Notes, The Organist, and Don’t @ Me with Justin Simien. HotPod named us "one of the most interesting publishers of unconventional and surprising independent-spirited podcasts." This year we would like to bring on an experienced producer, editor and showrunner to oversee a group of new and existing programs at KCRW. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, communicator and creator. They have background, perspective, and ideas traditionally underrepresented in public media.

The Development Manager will serve as a vital member of KCRW’s dynamic Development Team. The Development Manager will be responsible for managing, supporting, and advancing KCRW’s Development program in Santa Barbara (and surrounding areas) which includes contributions from a range of individuals, private, corporate, and family foundations. This person will be responsible for overseeing individual relationship building and solicitations, prospect research, pipeline management, proposal preparation and submission, and coordinating with the Head of Development and Santa Barbara Advisory Board. In addition, the Santa Monica based Development team will support the Development Manager to ensure goals, deadlines, and financial objectives are accomplished. This role reports directly to the Head of Development.

KCRW is seeking a part time, fill-in anchor to join our award-winning news and on-air team in Santa Monica. This anchor will substitute for regular hosts when time off is scheduled and as operational needs arise. We are seeking a warm, natural and authoritative on-air presence to assist with the execution of live broadcasts across days, including weekends, middays, and AM/PM drive time. This is a great part-time role that is dependent on a flexible and adaptive on air talent, and an opportunity to get to know KCRW. The ideal candidate must have an engaging on-air style, excellent news judgement, a thirst for accurate, timely news coverage, strong technical skills, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to write quickly and compellingly for audio. This position works closely with editors and producers. The Anchor must integrate network and KCRW content seamlessly, understanding Southern California and its important role in the national conversation.

KCRW is seeking fill-in, temp producers on All Things Considered and Morning Edition. This producer will substitute for our regular afternoon and morning producers when time off is scheduled and as operational needs arise. These positions are the backbone of a production team for local news coverage during NPR’s signature shows Morning Edition and All Things Considered. This is an excellent opportunity for you if you have some experience in breaking news, audio editing and on-air reporting, but want to take your newsroom skills to the next level, and have a flexible schedule.
