Nominated for this year’s foreign language Oscar, this stunning, black and white but psychedelic trip down the Amazon explores the relationship between a shaman and scientists on a quest for a hallucinogenic flower. First Take will screen "Embrace of the Serpent" for KCRW members on Thursday the 18th in Beverly Hills.
