When David Foster Wallace was promoting his magnum opus “Infinite Jest,” he was joined by writer David Lipsky.

Lipsky’s book about the experience is now a sensitive, powerful film called “The End of the Tour” - they might have called it “My Road Trip with David Foster Wallace.”

First Take will screen “The End of the Tour” for KCRW members on Thursday the 9th at the beautiful Wallis Theater in Beverly Hills. There will be a Q&A; with director James Ponsoldt following the screening.

Doors open at 6:30PM for wine and food trucks, the screening starts at 8:00PM.
