Celebrate California Public Radio Day with KCRW

By KCRW Membership

We’re excited to announce the second annual California Public Radio Day. Thirty public radio stations across California are uniting to celebrate on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

California's public radio stations are a trusted daily source for community-focused entertainment and fact-checked news, a means of discovering your next favorite music artist, and a cultural hub for you and millions of other listeners across our state.

Public radio is free to all because listeners like you choose to support it. We hope you’ll join together with your fellow Californians to help boost this critical service and share your love for independent, nonprofit radio.

Here’s how you can participate:

  • Donate on Thursday, August 26. Your gift in any amount counts towards California Public Radio Day and gets you the limited edition window cling.
  • Tell your friends. This fundraiser will need the strength of our entire community in order to succeed.
  • Share on social media: "I'm supporting my local public radio station @KCRW on #CaliforniaPublicRadioDay. Join me: kcrw.com/give"

We’re proud to stand with our California public radio community, including: 88.5 FM (Northridge), Cap Radio (Sacramento), DubLab (Los Angeles), KALW (San Francisco), KAZU (Monterey Bay), KCBX (San Luis Obispo), KCHO North State Public Radio (Chico), KCLU (Santa Barbara), KDFC (San Francisco), KDVS (UC Davis), KFCF (Fresno), KISL (Avalon), KJCC (San Jose City College), KKJZ (Long Beach), KMUD (Redway), KPBS (San Diego), KPCC (Pasadena), KPFA (Berkeley), KPFK (Los Angeles), KQED (San Francisco), KRCB (Santa Rosa), KUSC (Los Angeles), KVCR (San Bernardino), KVPR (Fresno), KXLU (Loyola Marymount University), KX FM (Laguna Beach), KZSC (Santa Cruz), KZYX (Mendocino), UCLA Radio (UCLA).
