Thank you for making KCRW a meaningful priority in your life

Hi there,

Thank you for supporting KCRW’s Drive To The Future.

For some, this is a hard time to give,  and I am grateful that you continue to make KCRW a meaningful priority in your life.

Your support powers the coming months of important news coverage, enlightening culture, spirit-lifting music, and yes, in-person summer events!

Plus, during this drive, you helped us spotlight and strengthen our community partners, including Inner City Law Center, Kedren Community Health Center, and Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA).

KCRW Board Members Susan Wright, Heather Mingst, and Michael Fleming were so inspired by you that they will be matching KCRW’s donation to each community partner. Together we are a force.

From all of us here at KCRW, thank you!

Stay tuned,
Jennifer Ferro
KCRW President and Proud Monthly Member

P.S. Thanks to YOU, KCRW will send 35,000 meals to our food bank partners in LA and Santa Barbara counties.

“Thank you for highlighting the work that Inner City Law Center does to fight for housing and justice during KCRW’s Drive to the Future. Over 66,000 people will be homeless in Los Angeles tonight. Every one of them is a human being — someone’s son or daughter.

KCRW is such a trusted news source for those who listen to it. It’s a great validator for our work to have KCRW lifting us up as a high-quality nonprofit working on LA’s housing and homelessness challenges. We truly appreciate our partners at KCRW focusing attention on the work that Inner City Law Center does to prevent and end homelessness. Thank you!”

- Adam Murray, CEO of Inner City Law Center

"We’ve had so many colleagues and community members reach out to tell us that they heard KCRW talking about Kedren on-air. We are so grateful for the additional exposure of the work we’re doing."

- Kedren Community Health Center

“In the last year, our HOLA students and their families have persevered through the devastating effects of the pandemic and demonstrated their resilience at every level. Amidst the challenges, our HOLA staff and volunteers rose to the occasion to show up in every way possible to meet the needs of our students and their families to ensure their well-being. We are overwhelmed by your outpouring of support and grateful to you for joining us in being the difference in the lives of LA youth.”

- Tony Brown, Executive Director of Heart of Los Angeles
