Hi there,
It’s been a while since I’ve seen your face. It’s nice to know there’s a person under that mask who smiles and laughs. When I cover the news there’s not a lot to smile about — gun violence, Ukraine, the environment, the war on truth, and on and on…
We don’t shy away from telling you about the tough stuff — it’s important to know what’s happening so we can try to fix it. But then I’ll interview a writer, or a musician, or a chef who’s creating something beautiful, and we have a thought-provoking conversation, and I’m reminded there are many facets to our humanity.
I learn something new every day doing my job. I also laugh every day. At least once. And I hope you do, too.
