Meet Sarah, the impressive Sarah. When she came to KCRW, she was on a mission to meaningfully contribute to Good Food, and darn it if she didn’t exceed her goal. Quiet, but never shy (she’s just busy – shhh), give her a task and you’ll wonder where you can get another Sarah, stat!

What is your current occupation?

What is your fantasy occupation?

When did you first discover KCRW?

What’s your current volunteer position and how long have you been at it?

I’m also working on an upcoming web project called Dogs of LA that’s taking a look at the geography of pet ownership in Los Angeles County.

Favorite volunteer moment?

It was fun shivering in the performance studio the day Sang Yoon cryo-blanched herbs with liquid nitrogen for a Good Food video. Another favorite happened on the other side of the performance studio glass, sitting in the control room watching Laura Mvula perform on Morning Becomes Eclectic.

That woman can sing. I don’t know why I ever disliked KCRW music.

What song have you hit repeat on lately?

Favorite book, movie?

Favorite thing to do outside the station?

What does KCRW mean to you?

Thank you, Sarah, for bringing your awesomeness to KCRW (along with your souped-up brain)!
