Makala RSVP

Join us for a new screening from The Document!

In the riveting documentary "Makala," a young African man chops down a massive tree, converts it into charcoal, then pushes his monstrous lode to market...on his beat up old bike. It's an incredible feat of strength and will, driven simply by the desire to make life better for his family.

The Document will screen "Makala" for KCRW sustainers on Thursday the 26th. It’s one of your only chances to see this remarkable film on the big screen in LA.
