Cultivate Events as she chats with farmers, chefs and shoppers at the

Santa Barbara Certified Farmers’ Market.

This week, she visited the Fair Hills Apple Farm stand and spoke with Korina Matyas about the final four varieties of this season’s harvest.

Here’s Korina’s favorite apple pie recipe, courtesy of the Minimalist Baker. She likes to mix the Pink Lady and Granny Smith varieties in the pie, to add some hints of tartness to the dessert.
