UCLA and USC football teams meet Saturday night at the Rose Bowl. It’s the 86th matchup between the crosstown rivals – a series that USC leads 45 to 31. There have also been 7 ties.
Thanks to a surge in the second half of the season, USC enters the weekend with a chance to earn a trip back to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl game. UCLA, meanwhile, is licking its wounds after a campaign that hasn’t gone as planned.
A victory over the Trojans is just the salve the Bruins are looking for. A win tomorrow and another next week against the Cal Bears would qualify the Bruins for college football’s post-season.
