New Life in Mid-Century Corporate Towers
There's new life in old office buildings in downtown Los Angeles with yesterday's swanky corporate towers being reborn as swanky apartments for affluent urbanites. Frances Anderton speaks with representatives of two groups active in the renaissance. She also takes a look at the life, legacy and Phyllis Morris, fizzy 50's interior designer to the stars, with the spokesman and president of the design company. Finally, an homage to the Doris Day-Rock Hudson sex comedies that capture the fantasy of mid-century America.
