In a 'Spider-Man' stand-off between Disney and Sony, neither side seems willing to budge. The problem, ironically, comes out of great Spider-Man success--fans loved seeing Spider-Man in newer Avengers movies, and the most recent Sony Spider-Man movie earlier this summer became Sony's biggest movie of all time. So now Sony believes they don't need the insight of Marvel Studio's Kevin Feige, and Disney doesn't want to leave money on the table and is demanding a bigger piece of the pie, which naturally Sony doesn't want to fork over. This means unresolved Spider-Man storylines in upcoming Marvel movies and Disney being left out of any possible Spider-Man TV shows.
