Sony Pulls the Plug on 'The Interview'

Hosted by

North Korea is now believed to be "centrally involved" in the unprecedented hack at Sony Pictures. The focus of the hackers' ire is the James Franco and Seth Rogen comedy The Interview, which portrays the assassination of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Now Sony has canceled the Christmas Day release of the movie entirely, and the future for several top Sony executives looks shaky. While there was some push to perhaps get Sony to release the film via a streaming VOD service, they'd likely have difficulty finding someone to stream it.
