Kim Masters and Michael Schneider discuss the trends in the new TV shows presented by the broadcast networks to advertisers this week. There were many more shows than in past years featuring racially diverse casts -- especially on ABC. Also notable was the lack of new comedies. Although the singing competitions hold on they have lost their dominance.
